Viola is a senior engineering manager for the newly establishing Google Cloud Retail Solutions team in Budapest. Her team aims to bring value to Google Cloud customers in the retail industry through transformative solutions which solve the toughest business challenges with AI-powered, industry-focused applications of Google’s advanced technologies.
Prior to joining Google Hungary, she filled the role of VP of Engineering, Shared Services at Instructure Inc. Previously she was a software engineer and an engineering manager at Google Switzerland, working on Google Shopping amongst other areas in Google Ads and in Site Reliability Engineering.
Viola holds an MSc in Computer Science degree from the University of Babes Bolyai, Romania.
Matthew LeBourgeois is an Engineering Manager on GCP's Manufacturing Solutions team primarily working on Cloud IoT Core. Prior to joining Google, he was Director of Engineering for Data Plus Math, a TV analytics startup acquired by LiveRamp. Previously, he's also run an SRE team focusing on core internet DNS infrastructure and was an aspiring physicist looking for new elementary particles at the Large Hadron Collider.
Matthew holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California San Diego.
Lala joined the Budapest team in September 2021. He is working on Google Cloud Platform designing and implementing services primarily to enable Manufacturing customers with the power of AI.
Prior to Google, he was a professional freelancer working on enterprise APIs and internal open sourcing initiatives at Tesco Technology, and leading IoT product development teams at Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems. Previously Lala was co-founder and CTO of a small IT company specialized in Google Cloud Platform.
Lala holds an MSc in Computer and Information Science from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
David is an Engineering Manager in the Google Cloud Industry Solutions team in Budapest. His teams are building products within the Google Cloud Platform with the mission of primarily helping companies in the Manufacturing Industry to digitally transform their business with the power of AI.
Prior to Google, he worked at LogMeIn and Microsoft in various roles. The team he was working in at LogMeIn developed an IoT product that became the only Hungarian acquisition in Google history.
David holds a Bachelor's Degree of Computer Science from Obuda University.
